Continuing on from a project that began at university, Glenn explores the value we give to religious buildings long after they have ceased to be used for their original purpose.
The name 61:4 is taken from a bible verse Isaiah 61:4 “They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.”
The project is born out of a fascination with human nature and the way significance is applied to bricks and mortar.
